The HRC is a diverse group of horses and horse lovers residing in Hartland, VT, and other Upper Valley towns.  Founded in 1969 as a place for horse people, both old and new, to come together and share their passion and excitement. We strive to create a comfortable and considerate environment where everyone is free to contribute and enjoy. We are an open and friendly group of folks willing to try new ideas and make new friends. We believe in good horsemanship, cooperation, laughter, teamwork and the love of a horse. And we really love to eat!  We include horses of all breeds, shapes, and sizes, people of all seat preferences and ages, drivers, ex-riders, and friends of riders, too. Whether you are owned by a horse or not, all horse enthusiasts are welcome.
